Who We Are

We are storytellers at heart.

After spending many years working in journalism, government and public relations, founder Kim Maialetti was inspired to strike out on her own. She formed Wordplay in 2007 to help people and organizations working for social good tell their stories.

Five years later, Kim met Kate Levin, who by then had spent several years working in the nonprofit sector, primarily as a fundraiser.

Over countless hours and two coasts, Kim and Kate have forged a strong and successful partnership, telling stories about causes that matter.

In our 15-year history, Wordplay is proud to have helped raise awareness of and funds for organizations big and small that are making the world a better place.

Prior to starting Wordplay, Kim was an account executive with a Philadelphia-based public relations firm, where she managed a range of clients including Campbell Soup Company and the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission.
